Letters From Across The Ocean is about showing our troops that we support them and are here for them. There are no rules to the page, all we ask is a very small commitment, one letter a month, however, you are more than welcome to write more. When writing your letters, please address them to 'Military Hero'. On the 15th of each month I will send all the letters, cards, and donations to the troops, so it is important that you all have your items in the mail by the 9th of the month. If I receive enough letters, instead of sending them individually, we will compile a book for the troops to share, but if we get enough (about 200), the letters will be distributed individually.

There are many ways to get involved in this organization, so please be sure to check out all the links on the left to find out what you can do to help. At one point or another, I'm sure you have all been alone. Here at LFATO, we know what it is like to be in a foreign place with everyone and everything you love thousands of miles away. We may not be in another country, but living so far away from home gets lonely, depressing, and sometimes it is hard to sleep at night. You always wonder what your loved ones are doing, if they miss you, are they thinking about you...Just imagine how our military men and women must feeI.To send them a letter, a card, or even a box of snacks means a smile on their face, a taste of home, and a morale boost. To hear from someone that they don't even know and read how much their sacrifice means to you is enough to make you smile and continue on this journey with us to show our love, appreciation, and pride we have for our troops.

This organization is completely non-profit and any and all donations will go to shipping and care package items needed and requested by our troops. The account I have is through a Military Bank that allows only myself to access. I have a card that is strictly for carepackage purchases, that is reviewed and approved before every purchase made. Your participation and support would not only mean something to us, but to our brave, strong, and selfless heroes who are overseas fighting for our freedom and the luxuries we have. The least we can do in return is write a letter, So please join in with us and show our troops that we are grateful for their sacrifices and we are praying for their safe return.
